We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join Hampton Lakes Primary School as SEND Teaching Assistants (Level 2). Both temporary and permanent positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Support learning opportunities for all pupils as part of the SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) role.
- Carry out 30 minutes of Midday Supervision each day to build positive relationships with all children.
Qualifications and experience
- Clear understanding of the Every Child Matters framework and a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- Some experience working with children and comfort in a school environment; ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to a range of situations.
- Confidence in working with young children; experience or passion for working in a primary setting is advantageous.
- Ability to engage effectively with pupils and promote positive behaviour.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only.
Additional information
The role supports pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, and Dyslexia, and involves contributing to Speech and Language programmes where required.
