We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate part‑time Teacher of Science to join our well‑established and successful department. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable applicants. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an ECT eager to begin their career in a supportive and dedicated department. Our ECTs follow the DfE Early Career Framework and benefit from both a subject mentor and an Induction Tutor. Our Science curriculum is broad, engaging and designed to ensure students of all abilities are challenged, supported and inspired. You will work with a committed team of specialists and skilled technicians, delivering high‑quality lessons and contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum. Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role and applicants must hold existing UK Right to Work.

Our Science team is a strong and growing department comprising subject leads in each discipline, both experienced and Early Career teachers and a team of skilled technicians. Hampton Gardens offers state‑of‑the‑art laboratories and excellent resources to support innovative and practical Science teaching. We currently deliver:

  • AQA GCSE Combined Science (Trilogy)
  • AQA GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • OCR A‑Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Our Key Stage 3 curriculum has been carefully designed to build strong foundations and prepare students fully for their GCSE and A‑Level pathways. Hampton Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
