Guest Service Assistant - Breakfast in Leeds

As a Guest Service Assistant - Breakfast, your passion for presentation and commitment to delivering a memorable breakfast experience will play a key role in every guest's stay.

Taking pride in your workspace and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality and service, you will help create a welcoming and memorable start to each guest's day. In addition, you will support the restaurant operation by serving food and providing excellent customer service to our guests throughout their dining experience.

Your day-to-day:

• Prepare, cook and serve Hotel breakfast to Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards and Food Handling Legislation
• Deliver great guest service whilst creating memorable guest experiences daily & in line with Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards
• Restock the breakfast buffet daily to ensure our guests always have adequate supplies & in line with Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards
• Own your kitchen – keep on top of supplies and equipment, and minimise waste
• Take on the role of Breakfast Host as and when required, welcoming our guests as the first point of contact during breakfast service and taking care of them and their breakfast experience
• Support during Breakfast Service with the clearing and re-setting of guest tables in line with Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards
• Help create a safe space by following our safety procedures, wearing necessary protective equipment when required and inline with UK Legislation
• Restock condiments and cutlery ensuring supplies never run short
• Keep the restaurant clean and tidy to welcome our guests in line with Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards
• Be cleaner than clean – meet and exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws
• Washing up and other kitchen duties when needed
• Wear your uniform with pride
• Inform your Duty Manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
• Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together
• You may be cross trained to assist the reception team with FOH duties

What we need from you

• Excellent customer service skills
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Cooking experience – desired but not essential - as we’ll training you!
• Basic Food Hygiene Qualification – Preferred but not essential – as we’ll training you!
• Must speak fluent English
• Other languages preferred
