Day In The Life Of
You will work in the kitchen to support our breakfast service. Guests look forward to starting their day with a smile from our breakfast assistants and the delicious food prepared by you. Your duties include:
- Preparing continental breakfast‑style food and hot English breakfast items for the buffet.
- Monitoring and replenishing the buffet continuously.
- Cooking items to order from the breakfast menu.
Example Key Duties:
- Maintain brand and internal standards for breakfast buffet items and stay updated on changes.
- Communicate effectively with the front‑of‑house breakfast team.
- Prepare work before the shift and clean after the shift to ensure smooth service.
- Cook hot items and prepare cold items for breakfast.
- Set up breakfast buffet stations and replenish items during the shift.
- Clear away breakfast items and clean down the kitchen.
- Maintain high levels of food safety, organisation, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Apply stock control measures.
- Prepare staff meals.
