We’re looking for friendly, reliable and proactive Reception Team Members to join our Front Office team on a zero-hour basis. Reception is the heartbeat of the hotel — setting the tone for every guest experience from arrival to departure. If you’re people-focused, organised and calm under pressure, you’ll fit right in.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, delivering a great first impression
- Manage check-ins and check-outs accurately using hotel systems
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns with confidence and care
- Process payments, billing and reservation amendments
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance and management teams
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional reception area
- Follow brand standards, cash handling and data protection procedures
- Support with upselling where appropriate (rooms, upgrades, F&B)
- Assist with problem-solving and guest recovery when required
- Represent the Hilton brand with professionalism at all times

- Calm under pressure, especially during busy periods
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Clear verbal and written English
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with shifts
- Previous hotel or customer service experience helpful but not essential
Useful Experience
- Hospitality, retail or customer service background
- Familiarity with hotel systems (Opera/OnQ or similar)
- Cash handling experience
- Understanding of brand standards and guest service expectations
