🔍 About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Delivery Lead to support the delivery of small‑scale change initiatives across HTB. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their project delivery career, with some experience in project coordination or project management, who is eager to grow within a structured and supportive transformation function. You will work closely with senior Delivery Leads and stakeholders across Transformation, IT, and business areas to ensure change projects are well‑planned, risks are managed, and outcomes align with HTB’s priorities.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Coordination: Support the creation and maintenance of delivery plans for small-scale projects. Monitor progress, highlight dependencies, and escalate issues where needed. Assist with preparation of progress reports, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Scope and Change Management: Help define and document project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Support the change control process and maintain accurate records of decisions and approvals.
  • Resourcing and Budget Awareness: Coordinate with resource managers to confirm availability and allocation for small initiatives. Track delivery costs and assist with reporting against approved budgets.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, log, and monitor risks and issues for allocated projects. Support proactive mitigation and escalation where required.
  • Governance and Reporting: Prepare inputs for project governance forums and assist with maintaining documentation and RAID logs. Ensure that project governance requirements are followed and that all key artefacts are up to date.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide project updates and gather inputs. Work collaboratively across Transformation, IT, and business functions to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of delivery processes within the Business Transformation team. Share lessons learned and good practice from Small Change initiatives.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills: Some experience supporting project management or delivery in financial services or a similarly complex environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile or Waterfall) is desirable.

Qualifications: Working towards or holding a project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM). Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
