We’re looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Commercial Analyst to support the growth of our award‑winning Savings business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to inform pricing, product positioning and strategic decision‑making. You’ll work across forecasting, performance reporting, profitability modelling and pricing proposals — playing a key part in ensuring HTB remains competitive, compliant and aligned to its ambitious savings strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Market & Customer Insight
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to understand pricing trends and market movements
- Analyse customer behaviour to identify pricing sensitivities and optimise product strategy
- Monitor swap/base rates, customer rates, operational costs and acquisition/retention dynamics
- Forecasting & Commercial Modelling
- Produce inflow and outflow forecasts to meet Treasury requirements
- Ensure the savings deposit book remains within risk limits
- Undertake profitability analysis across products and customer cohorts
- Provide commercial insight that supports pricing proposals and decision‑making
- Governance, Pricing & Reporting
- Support production of pricing papers for the Pricing Committee
- Create exhibits and analysis for ALCO and other forums
- Report on customer acquisition, retention, channel usage and cost performance
- Contribute to governance packs (MBR) and departmental reporting
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Savings Product Operations, Treasury, Marketing, Customer Operations and Pricing Committee members
- Work with external partners such as market‑data providers and pricing optimisation tool suppliers

- Experience in financial services, ideally within savings
- Highly advanced analytical skills and strong problem‑solving ability
- Experience developing insights and visualisations (Tableau advantageous)
- Strong prioritisation skills and commercial awareness
