Overview: Fareham RFC prides itself on being a family‑oriented community with strong values and a welcoming culture. With links to local military establishments and service personnel, the club offers a strong pathway for young players through its thriving Junior and Colts programmes, and supports players progressing into senior rugby.
Responsibilities:
- Co‑ordinate and conduct training sessions for the two senior men’s teams on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings (7:00 pm to 8:30 pm).
- Lead Saturday matches, with kick‑off times varying between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm, all within the Hampshire leagues.
- Plan, prepare and deliver game and skill zones to develop core skills, motivate 1st‑team players to improve, and inspire 2nd‑team players to aspire to first‑team rugby.
- Provide coaching oversight, feedback and support to players using an inside facility and astro‑turf for poor‑weather training.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified coach.
- Access to CPD and Hampshire Coaching events.
- Experience coaching adult rugby teams preferable.
