About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team in Alton. In this role, you will be reporting to the Group Finance Manager and responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining healthy customer relationships. This is an office-based role with flexibility for part time or full time Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing customers Balance sales ledger on a monthly basis Produce month-end reports and customer statements UK GBP, EUR, USD, and AED Bank Reconciliation Analyse customer financial information and assess creditworthiness Determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms Proactively pursue outstanding invoices through phone calls, emails, and letters Negotiate payment plans with customers Resolve customer queries and disputes promptly and professionally Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment arrangements Monitor customer account activity and identify potential risks Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures Prepare and analyse credit control reports Assist with the month-end closing process Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Provide excellent customer service and support Proactively communicate with customers regarding their accounts Qualifications: Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role Strong understanding of credit control principles and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organisational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software Experience with ERP systems Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Supportive work environment Holiday, pension Part time or full time hours If you are interested, APPLY NOW.
