An established Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to support continued growth across the business. The company delivers projects throughout the UK across a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare, High‑End Residential, Food Production, and Data Centres. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plumbing and pipefitting installations across a variety of commercial and industrial projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install plumbing and pipework systems on commercial and industrial projects
- Carry out installation of heating, chilled water, copper, steel, and sanitary pipework
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades on site
- Ensure all installations are completed in line with current regulations and company standards
- Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault finding where required
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Plumber / Pipefitter within the M&E or construction sector
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
- CSCS skill card required
- Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical installations and site procedures
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
