An established Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to support continued growth across the business. The company delivers projects throughout the UK across a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Logistics, Healthcare, High-End Residential, Food Production, and Data Centres. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company with a strong pipeline of work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works across a variety of projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Install electrical systems and equipment on commercial and industrial projects
- Carry out containment, wiring, lighting, power, and final fix installations
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and site standards
- Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades
- Maintain high levels of health & safety on site
- Diagnose faults and carry out testing where required
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Previous experience as an Electrician within the M&E or construction sector
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- ECS/CSCS card required
- 18th Edition qualification preferred
- Testing & Inspection qualification advantageous
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Permanent role with a well-established contractor
- Salary between £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
