Mechanical Supervisor Are you a highly experienced and proactive Mechanical Supervisor seeking a significant long-term opportunity? We\’re looking for a dedicated professional to lead the mechanical aspects of a major industrial project in Norwich for an estimated duration of 12-18 months! The Opportunity: Take ownership of the mechanical installations on a large-scale industrial development. This is a fantastic chance to utilize your leadership skills and technical expertise on a substantial and engaging project. What you\’ll be doing: * Overseeing and managing all mechanical installation activities on site. * Supervising and coordinating a team of mechanical fitters and other operatives. * Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant regulations. * Monitoring progress, managing schedules, and proactively addressing any issues. * Liaising effectively with site management, clients, and other stakeholders. * Ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. * Managing materials, plant, and resources efficiently. What you\’ll bring to the table: * Extensive experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large commercial or industrial projects. * Strong technical knowledge of various mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, pipework, plumbing, etc.). * Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within a construction environment. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, SSSTS). * A proactive and hands-on approach to project delivery.
