A leading specialist in Construction is currently seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join an expanding team in the North of England. This is a pivotal role for a professional who thrives on variety, balancing a strategic presence at the Leeds head office with high-impact, "boots on the ground" support across a diverse range of project sites.

The Remit
Reporting to the Principal Health & Safety Manager, the Advisor will act as a key point of contact for site teams, ensuring that safety standards are not just met, but exceeded. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving Culture: Promoting a positive, "safety-first" mindset across M&E projects, maintenance, and facilities management operations.
- Site Assurance: Conducting regular site audits and inspections, producing high-quality reports that offer actionable insights.
- Technical Review: Evaluating health and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), to ensure compliance and practical application.
- Engagement: Delivering engaging safety briefings and toolbox talks to a varied workforce.
- Incident Management: Supporting incident investigations and maintaining professional liaison with clients and principal contractors.
The Ideal Profile

- Qualifications: A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience within the construction industry is required, with a preference for those with an M&E background.
