The Opportunity
Are you a highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, "hands-on" operational environment? We are looking for a dual-aspect Fleet & Store Coordinator to become the backbone of our Westbury operations. This is a pivotal role where you will balance technical fleet management with the precision of warehouse and stock control. If you are an "early bird" who enjoys a mix of administrative strategy and practical problem-solving, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Coordination
- You will oversee the entire lifecycle of the company vehicle fleet, ensuring we stay compliant, safe, and on the road.
- Compliance & Admin: Manage road tax, insurance (MID), fuel cards, and parking/fine systems.
- Maintenance: Coordinate MOTs, servicing, and LOLER inspections; perform minor "quick-fix" repairs (mirrors, bulbs, etc.) to minimize downtime.
- Driver Support: Act as the first point of contact for breakdowns, manage driver records/licence checks, and oversee the vehicle tracking system.
- Asset Management: Handle vehicle allocations, inspections for new starters/leavers, and manage damage claims or external artwork suppliers.
Stores
- You will be the custodian of our stores department, ensuring our teams have the tools and equipment they need to succeed.
- Inventory Control: Manage the full cycle of ordering, receiving, and issuing stock (PPE, tools, uniform) while maintaining digital records and conducting audits.
- Site Operations: Act as the primary contact for deliveries, manage waste/skips, and ensure the yard is safe and tidy (including seasonal tasks like salting).
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct H&S equipment checks (e.g., ladders), coordinate tool calibrations, and maintain a high standard of shop-floor organization.
- Procurement: Liaise with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and manage general office/kitchen supplies.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Experience: Previous experience in fleet management, logistics, or stores/warehouse coordination is highly desirable.
- Skills: Exceptional multitasking abilities with a "can-do" attitude toward physical tasks and administrative duties.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel is essential) and comfortable learning bespoke management software (e.g., Continuum/Mi Parking).
- Licence: A valid UK Driving License is essential.
- Reliability: Comfort with a 06:30 AM start and the ability to work independently.
