About Us

Our client is a well-established, rapidly growing Fire & Security company with a reputation for excellence. This is a pivotal role where your technical insights will directly support the field engineers and keep our clients safe and satisfied.

The Role

You will act as the vital bridge between our field engineering team and our diverse client base, providing high-quality remote assistance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer Support: Provide over-the-phone technical guidance to field engineers during installations, commissioning, and fault-finding.
  • Client Assistance: Act as the first point of contact for clients experiencing system queries, helping to diagnose and resolve faults remotely where possible.
  • System Configuration: Assist with remote programming, panel setups, and managing cloud-based security software applications.
  • Problem Solving: Efficiently triage technical issues, escalating complex matters to senior engineering teams or manufacturers when necessary.

What We Are Looking For

  • Industry Knowledge: Some prior knowledge or experience with intruder alarm systems (e.g., Texecom, Galaxy, Pyronix, Orisec) is highly desirable.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with software platforms, IP networking, and mobile apps related to modern security systems.
  • Communication Skills: An excellent telephone manner with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Team Player: A calm under-pressure approach and a genuine desire to help colleagues and clients solve problems.

What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 baseline, structured around your current industry knowledge.
  • Stability & Growth: Join a thriving business that actively invests in staff training, manufacturer certifications, and long-term career progression.
