About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Supervisor for a significant commercial installation project in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a team on a high-profile site for a substantial contract period.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installation activities, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. You will be a key figure on-site, managing operatives, enforcing health and safety regulations, and liaising with project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical regulations and project specifications.
- Manage and motivate a team of electricians and electrical operatives.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure adherence to site health and safety protocols.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, clients, and other trades on site.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2360/2330/2357 or equivalent).
- Valid SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale commercial installation projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work extended hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) as required.
- Full PPE and own basic tools.
