The Workforce Postings and Structures Team is responsible for managing the organisational structure and related systems to ensure accurate postings and establishment data. You will ensure that all HR information, whether on IT systems or other files, is accurately recorded, managed and analysed to provide high quality and timely management information. You will also maintain the accuracy of the force HR system by actioning internal movement in a timely manner, with the required supporting paperwork.

You provide high quality and timely advice on specialist HR issues related to postings, internal movement, secondments, career breaks and changes to the HR system, enabling managers to take appropriate actions and make informed decisions. You also develop a thorough understanding of the force structure and priorities to effectively manage the workload and deliver practical, timely and high quality outcomes. Additionally, you will ensure that recruitment requests comply with force structure and establishment levels, escalating requests or processing as appropriate.

Required Experience & Competencies

  • Experience in a generalist HR or similar office based role.
  • Competent and experienced in managing data, able to work with technology and analyse/search management information to inform decision making.
  • Experience in a role that requires multi-tasking and able to make effective business decisions within the limitations of the role.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and with conflicting priorities.
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and via email.
