Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? What is HOLMES? HOLMES (Home Office Large Major Enquiry System) is the system on which our Major Crime investigators keep their records. The Major Crime Team are looking for a HOLMES Indexer to support the investigation of serious and complex crime within Hampshire by effective use of HOLMES in the Major Incident Room (MIR) and Casualty Bureau (CB).
You will be working both individually and as part of a team researching and maintaining database records and documentation in order to provide accurate information, intelligence and evidence preparation. If this sounds interesting to you then we would welcome your application.
What we require from you:
- You must be prepared to undertake relevant training courses as necessary in order to fulfil the requirements of the role. This includes a national HOLMES indexer course which is 4 weeks in length and may be out of Force, hotel and hire car will be provided.
- You must be prepared to undertake a driving assessment and eye test in order to utilise force vehicles.
