Social network you want to login/join with: We are seeking a professional and experienced Sonographer committed to excellent patient care and high-quality imaging to join our friendly and dynamic Non-Obstetric US team based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. Our facilities include the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Andover Community Diagnostic Centre, and Alton Community Hospital. Each department has designated ultrasound rooms, and you will work with a team of Sonographers, student Sonographers, RDAs, and Radiologists. We are considering expanding our services across all sites. Working Hours: 37.5 hours or pro rata per week, variable shifts Main duties of the job We perform a variety of examinations for ED, inpatients, outpatients, and GP patients, including urology, baby hips, MSK, vascular, gynae, and soft tissue. We also provide ultrasound access for ambulatory services such as Stroke and Same Day Urgent Care. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of Non-Obstetric US. Please note this role does not include Obstetric Ultrasound, which is managed by a separate department. The role involves participating in student Sonographer training and supporting service development. The successful candidate must hold a PgD in Ultrasound or equivalent, be HCPC registered, and able to travel between sites as required. Person specification Training & Qualifications Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU), Post Graduate Diploma (PgD) in Diagnostic Ultrasound from an accredited course in the UK or equivalent from an associated country, e.g., AIU diploma Experience Extensive clinical knowledge of ultrasound scanning techniques across multiple areas Experience in an acute clinical setting such as the NHS or equivalent Research project/publication experience Skills Ability to plan and organise complex activities within a multidisciplinary team #J-18808-Ljbffr
