The Outpatient Department at Winchester Hospital is looking for qualified nurse to join our team of nurses and health care assistants that work to support a wide variety of specialties from surgery to medicine, breast care to urology, dermatology to colorectal plus many more.

You will be assisting in a vast range of procedures which will include flexible sigmoidoscopy, minor dermatological procedures, ophthalmology and vascular dressing clinics, as well as general medical and surgical clinics., An initial period of supernumerary time and supervision will be provided during your induction, along with structured training and support.

Previous outpatient experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Professional development is high on our priorities. The department offers a supportive and learning environment which endeavours to constantly develop the service, in order that its patients receive the highest quality and most up to date care., This is a very patient-focused service and the successful candidate will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across a range of different medical and surgical specialties.
