Overview
The successful applicant\’s primary duties will be to mostly undertake building and minor improvement tasks across the Trust\’s properties and for its contracted customers, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
The Estates Department is looking for a Building Craftsperson (carpentry bias) with a background preferably gained in a building services or healthcare environment. Works will also include minor painting tasks, lock maintenance and drainage clearance and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Undertake building and minor improvement tasks across the Trust\’s properties and for contracted customers, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures.
- Carry out carpentry-related maintenance and repairs as part of the Building Craftsperson role.
- Assist with minor painting tasks, lock maintenance and drainage clearance and inspections.
Qualifications and requirements
- Must have the physical ability and agility to carry out manual handling.
- Must have a current full UK driving license.
- Additional training will be provided for a successful applicant where they do not fully meet the person specification.
- Happy to Talk Flexible Working – all requests for flexible and part time working will be considered.
