The Role: Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue (HIWFRS) is embarking on an exciting period of working with other public sector organisations to share properties, embed principles of a new property and estates strategy and provide first class facilities management across the County. HIWFRS have established a Strategic Property & Estates Plan which sets out the forward direction of the organisation's property estate and how this will be managed and maintained.

This is an exciting time to join the new Property & Facilities team as we work to bring excellent service to the organisation across property management, maintenance and facilities management. This role will play a key function supporting the whole team by providing a front of house support service for our main reception, phone switchboard and across the headquarters site.

We are seeking a self-motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic individual to deliver an effective and efficient reception service and support the delivery of facilities services to meet business requirements across both organisations and the wider Service that promotes the professional image of HIWFRS.

Previous experience in a similar role within a business environment is essential. To succeed at this role, you will possess good communication and organisation expertise, IT skills (database and word-processing) and a background of working in a fast-paced office environment. You will be highly motivated to deliver excellent Customer Service, can work under pressure and use your initiative. You will need to be flexible in your approach and able to work as part of a team.
