About Us:
As a Creative Media Production Tutor in our Adult Education Service, you will provide high‑quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners, inspiring and encouraging them to achieve their creative potential.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering industry‑relevant module content to learners
- Preparing learners for roles in the media industry and tracking their progress through one‑to‑ones and tutorials
- Marking and assessing work to maximise outcomes and identify progression opportunities
- Acting as a source of guidance and advice across the wider graphics and media curriculum, and providing additional support where needed
Hours will be Monday and Wednesday 9.30am–4.30pm.
An established professional with a qualification in a relevant subject area at Level 4 and a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above, you will bring strong industry knowledge and experience in creative media production, including in the following areas:
- Video Production and Audio Recording
- 2D/3D Animation, Interactive Media and Social Media
- Contextual and historical research
- Critical Analysis and technical understanding
- Experience of pre‑production, production and post‑production, with a good command of Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Audition, Media Encoder), Blender or Cinema 4D, and Garageband (or similar) is required.
