The Council are at an exciting phase of enhancing our Best Start in Life offer. Do you have proven successful experience in early years education and childcare, family support and enhancing services for children and families?

In this varied role, you will support families, children and young people to access services through our Best Start Family Hubs, supporting families to enable access to a wide range of services including early years, school settings and post 16 services.

You will work as part of a team to understand the needs of families and support them to access the right service at the right time. You will be required to develop effective relationships with key partners to ensure families can access their services within our Best Start Family Hubs network.

You will need a sound knowledge of Best Start Family Hubs services including parenting and family support services. This is a key role in leading and delivering parenting and home learning environment programmes. This post will support families from communities across the borough engage with an increasing wide range of programmes.

You will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Applicants will require proven successful experience in an early years education & childcare and/or family support role.
