Do you enjoy working with good food and great people? We are seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our friendly team at Lepe Country Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, light filled space serving good mood food in a stunning coastal setting. From hearty breakfasts to vibrant salads, everything we serve is freshly made using locally sourced ingredients.
The Role:
Our Kitchen Team Members support the day to day preparation and service of food and drink, helping to deliver a high quality and welcoming experience for visitors to Lepe Country Park.
What you’ll do:
- Working as part of a friendly team, you will prepare and serve food and drink in line with agreed specifications, ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards are met at all times.
- You will support daily kitchen operations, including stock control, cleaning, customer transactions, and shift handovers, helping to ensure a safe, efficient, and high quality service for visitors.
What we’re looking for:
- You will have experience working in a kitchen environment, with strong food preparation skills and a basic understanding of food safety and stock control.
- You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your personal presentation.
- Well organised with excellent communication skills, you will put the customer at the heart of everything you do.
- You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, able to remain calm under pressure, and adapt confidently to unexpected situations.
This is a full time role (37 hours per week) within a seven day operation, mainly daytime hours. Sunday and Bank Holiday working is paid at an enhanced rate, with additional seasonal overtime available.
