Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) seeks a professional and dedicated Hydrant Technician to support the Hydrants & Water Supplies function. The postholder will inspect, test, maintain and repair fire hydrants to ensure operational readiness, working independently and with partner agencies. The role requires regular outdoor working in all weather conditions, accurate data recording, effective communication, and full compliance with health, safety and organisational procedures.
