Overview: We have an exciting role providing a range of administrative support services to the Chief Officer Support senior leadership team. The position is based within the Chief Officer Group (COG) Support Office and reports to the Chief of Staff Office Manager & EA for the Chief Constable and Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief Constable.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage shared mailboxes, handle incoming correspondence and maintain accurate records and systems.
  • Coordinate tasks, projects and office management activity.
  • Support the Reward and Recognition programme, including attending ceremonies and assisting with event running.
  • Maintain an organised and efficient office environment and manage files and folders for the Chief Constables portfolio.
  • Travel within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as required, including attendance at ceremonies at Netley.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to QCF level 2 including Maths and English or equivalent work experience.

Essential Experience:

  • High standard proficiency with common office software.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills adaptable to all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate various tasks.
