Stubbington Study Centre delivers residential, learning outside the classroom experiences to primary aged children. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Domestic Assistant to undertake physically demanding tasks and help maintain children’s accommodation, ensuring a positive stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of domestic areas within set timescales, including dusting, washing hard surfaces, sweeping floors, vacuuming, emptying bins, and cleaning sinks, showers and toilets.
  • Make beds and prepare accommodation for the arrival of residential customers.
  • Clean other buildings and facilities on site, including office, meeting rooms and classrooms.
  • Follow Hampshire County Council’s and Centre’s policies and procedures in day‑to‑day duties.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Reliable and trustworthy, with the stamina and resilience required for physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong customer care skills, excellent time‑management and the ability to work effectively in a team with keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties related to the role as required.

Schedule:

  • 13.5 hour role only: 9:00 – 12:30 Tuesday
  • 9:00 – 1:30 Wednesday
  • 11:00 – 4:30 Friday
