At Jacob's Lodge Respite Unit, we provide respite services for adults with learning disabilities. Joining our supportive team as a General Assistant, you'll play an essential role in the everyday running of our service. You'll assist with domestic and laundry duties while building positive connections with our residents. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the highest standards will enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of those who need our support.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas, toilets, facilities and offices.
- Carry out laundry tasks.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families and colleagues.
- Assist with infection control and store replenishment alongside the maintenance supervisor.
- Maintain daily audit paperwork.
