Role Overview

As an Adult Education Ceramics Tutor, you will provide high‑quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners, inspiring and encouraging them to achieve their creative potential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and deliver lessons, track learner progress and provide advice and guidance through one‑to‑one sessions and tutorials.
  • Carry out marking and assessments, working proactively to maximise outcomes and identify progression opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 ceramics qualification and a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification.
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience in contemporary ceramics practice.
  • Experience teaching adult learners on accredited courses, engaging diverse groups across mixed abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering an outstanding learner experience.
