Our homes provide the right environment for us to deliver the outstanding care our residents deserve. As a Maintenance Person you'll play a key role in ensuring we can deliver our services in a clean, safe, and pleasant environment, so our residents and staff can feel proud of their surroundings.
What you'll do:
- Maintenance and cleaning duties: Support the Maintenance Supervisor with heavy cleaning, essential minor maintenance and repair work of buildings, furniture and fittings and maintenance of grounds and gardens, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and Health and Safety compliance at all times.
- Health and safety: Undertake checks, test and record fire and security alarms systems and equipment and test and record water temperatures and content in accordance with procedures.
- Record Keeping: Keep written records, such as record books or incident report sheets.
- Build Relationships: Establish positive and supportive connections with residents, their families and colleagues.
