The All Age Continuing Care (AACC) Business Development Team is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Coordinatorto provide maternity cover until March 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Head of Business Development while contributing to exciting transformation and digital innovation projects across the AACC service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As Business Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative and project support to the Business Development function. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and maintaining risk and issues logs,

Overseeing the completion and tracking of the AACC assurance matrix,

Collation of AACC performance metrics,

Acting as Project Coordinator on various transformation and automation projects,

Involvement in the ongoing rollout of the new AACC end-to-end digital platform.

This varied role offers valuable exposure to service improvement and transformation projects, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their project management skills.

Person specification

Knowledge, Training and Experience

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of project principles and Contract management.
  • Previously worked in similar position within the public sector.
  • Skills for communication of complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/ written / presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to pull together comprehensive reports, data and letters.
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences.
  • Skills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
  • Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks.
  • Negotiating, networking and persuasive skills.
