Overview
Looking for a role where you can make a real difference? As a Healthcare Support Worker, you\βll work closely with our service users and their families, supporting them through their recovery and ensuring they have a positive and compassionate experience.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care. You will carry out duties as designated by the person in charge and accurately record patient/service user information. In addition to this, you will provide support to relatives/carers.
No previous care experience? No problem. As long as you have the right values and a willingness to learn, we\\\βll provide you with full training and support to get started. Many of our current staff began their careers with us in exactly the same way. From there, you\\\βll have the chance to develop further, with opportunities to progress into Band 3 HCSW roles and nursing apprenticeships.
You will need to be kind and responsive and remain professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services we provide. You will need to have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a caring and supportive approach to working.

This role is based at Ravenswood House, a medium and low secure forensic unit for adults with serious mental illness and/or personality disorders. Our patients may come to us from high secure hospitals, prisons, or the courts, and we provide high-quality care and treatment across four specialist wards. You\\\βll need to be comfortable working a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, but we\\\βll ensure you are fully supported as you gain confidence.
