Join us at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and receive a 30,000 Golden Hello as part of your appointment. We are seeking enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrists to join our Community Mental Health Teams at The Bitterne Park Medical Centre, providing expert clinical leadership and high-quality care to patients with complex needs. You will work closely with primary care, acute services, and a skilled multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to shape patient pathways, contribute to service development, and take part in teaching, CPD, and research.

Main duties of the job

This is a fantastic time to join us. We need forward-thinking, dynamic change agents to join our teams who would offer first-class clinical leadership and clinical care across all our Mental Health Specialities and who will support us in our ongoing journey of transformation by bringing new ways of looking at issues and thinking about how we deliver services.

Essential

  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council
  • MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in general adult psychiatry.
  • Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
