Overview

An opportunity has arisen within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to appoint a Part time Admin Co-ordinator in our Eastleigh School Nursing team based at Moorgreen Hospital. As the Admin Co-ordinator you will assist the School Nursing team in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service across a defined area. You will be required to provide high level support to the Admin Lead, Admin Manager and Clinical Team Leads in all aspects of activity relating to the Business Unit function.

Responsibilities

  • Use initiative and work autonomously, referring issues to other relevant parties as appropriate while maintaining confidentiality and security of information.
  • Provide a high level of customer service for staff and patients/customers.
  • Answer phones and manage communications, including managing emails and inputting data for the National Child Measurement Programme.
  • Enter information on patient record systems and support data input for Vision and other systems.
  • Provide E-Rostering support for the team and assist with ordering of stationery and equipment.
  • Take minutes at team meetings and perform other general administrative tasks as required.
  • Be prepared to provide cross-cover support to other teams and sites across the Area as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Excellent IT skills.
  • NVQ in Administration.
  • Access to a car, a full driving licence and business insurance.
