Location: Southampton

Salary: Police Staff Scale 6 (PIP1) £30,783 to £32,772 and SO1 (PIP2), £33,915 to £35,982 per annum or pro rata for part time

Contract: Agency for up to 12 months

Hours: Part or Full Time (Full time is 37 hours per week)

Police Staff Investigators support our front line officers with a wide range of investigative activities including statement taking, CCTV review, suspect interviewing, TICs, intelligence interviews, and file building including disclosures.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary seek experienced investigators able to travel. This role offers a chance to join a professional team handling diverse investigations. This is a non-case-holding role, supporting the action team within Criminal Investigation Departments, working with current investigators on Serious and Complex crimes.

We are looking for PIP 1 or 2 or equivalent individuals with proven investigative experience, ideally with knowledge of Criminal Law and Justice procedures. This role suits experienced Detectives or Police Officers, Sergeants, Inspectors, Staff Investigators, or Civilian Investigators wanting to utilize their skills. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are committed officers and staff, and we invite you to join us. This role makes a daily difference.
