About The Role

We have an exciting role providing a range of administrative support services to the Chief Officer Support senior leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high‐quality administrative support at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the Chief of Staff, Office Manager & EA to the Chief Constable, and Staff Officer to the Deputy Chief Constable.

In this varied role, you will:

  • Manage shared mailboxes and handle incoming correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and systems; support coordination of tasks, projects and office management.
  • Assist with the Reward and Recognition programme and related events (e.g., attending awards ceremonies).
  • Contribute to maintaining an organised and efficient office environment; manage files and folders for the Chief Constable's portfolio.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Chief Officer Group (COG) Support Office and senior leadership team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional professionalism, sound judgement, and absolute discretion; comfortable handling sensitive information.
  • Appropriate vetting level and adherence to GDPR and Constabulary policies when handling personal data.
  • Aware of Health & Safety and related risks.
  • Willingness to travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as part of duties.
