About the role
As a People Advisor you will support the People Partner within five key areas: Learning & Development, Career Development, Performance & Development, Engagement and Leadership Development.
This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing the skills and capabilities of our colleagues, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles and advance their careers.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
This role is to primarily support the People Partner on 5 key strategic areas within our bank.
However, there is the opportunity to be involved in other People Team initiatives that support the bank, our colleagues and your development.
Learning & Development

Assist in creating learning and induction journeys for colleagues.

Help design and deliver e-learning modules and workshops.

Collaborating with the People Partner to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.

Support with the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) and act as an expert in the system.

Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes by gathering feedback, producing data, and analysing key performance indicators.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers ensuring the delivery of high-quality initiatives that align with our values and objectives.
Performance & Development

Support People Partner to embed our Performance & Development process.

Assist with the design and delivery of skills-based workshops to support great performance and development conversations.

Support with the implementation of a Performance & Development system and act as an expert in this system.

Produce reports and data to identify performance trends within the bank and pinpoint development areas.
Career Development

Support the People Partner with the embedding of a career development framework.

Work with business areas to update job profiles, ensuring consistency across the bank.
Engagement

Support with the launch of colleague engagement survey and pulse surveys.

Produce and analyse data from surveys to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the People Partner to develop and implement initiatives that enhance colleague engagement.

Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through targeted engagement activities and programs such as wellbeing calendar, annual flu vaccinations and health checks.

Support leaders and teams to embed our values into day-to-day practices and behaviours.
Leadership Development

Support People Partner with the design and delivery of Leadership Development Workshops that align with the banks goals and values.

Support with creation of digital solutions for self-directed learning and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with leaders to define expectations and gather feedback.

Measure effectiveness of leadership development initiatives.
