Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser for our Belfast, Maine location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and stocks retail store as assigned
  • Performs inventory cycle counts and maintains adequate inventory levels
  • Provides support for sales force which can include but is not limited to mixing paint, picking stock orders, etc.
  • Dusts shelves and performs basic housekeeping functions such as trash removal, sweeping or vacuuming
  • Position requires heavy lifting

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Available to work weekends
