An opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Vehicle Heavy Recovery Driver to join our busy vehicle recovery department. Due to an increase in demand from our customer base, we are now looking for capable staff to expand our operations in Ipswich and Halesworth.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which will include early, mid and late shifts. This is a multi-skilled role, where you must be mechanically knowledgeable and able to load, unload and recover a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans, motorcycles and commercial vehicles nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Recovery of heavy and light vehicles on live motorways or trunk roads
  • Applying safe working practices, including under-lift, winch, crane operations and low loaders

You must be motivated, take pride in your work and maintain a professional approach, able to work alone or as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum: Category C+E licence and a Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Preferred: Previous experience in vehicle recovery, proven experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of road safety regulations, ability to lift heavy items, excellent time management and strong communication skills
