Immediate start required for an initial 2-3 month contract, with potential extension.

We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support the implementation of a new operating model across Children's Services. The role will focus on mapping, reviewing, and improving operational processes, including referral pathways, procedures, and business support functions, to drive consistency, efficiency, and service improvement. Note: These are change roles not IT systems integration.

Candidates will work closely with service teams and stakeholders to document current and future-state processes, identify gaps and duplication, and recommend improvements. Experience within Children's Services, Social Care, SEND, or local government is highly desirable.

Key Deliverables:

  • End-to-end process maps and operational documentation
  • Gap analysis and improvement recommendations
  • Future-state process designs
  • Support for operating model implementation

Essential Skills:

  • Proven Business Analysis and process mapping experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Experience in service improvement, process redesign, and requirements gathering
  • Knowledge of Lean, Service Design, Agile, or similar methodologies

Desirable:

  • Children's Services, Social Care, or SEND experience
  • Local government/public sector background
  • Experience supporting transformation and change programmes
