Interested in using your medical experience in clinical research and helping develop the medicines of the future?
We’re looking for a Medical Officer to join our Medical Services team at Hammersmith Medicines Research (HMR), part of Nucleus Network, a global early-phase clinical trials organisation with facilities in the UK, Australia and the USA.
The role
Working under the supervision of senior physicians and Principal Investigators, you’ll:
- assess and screen potential clinical trial participants
- take medical histories and carry out physical examinations
- explain studies and obtain informed consent
- provide medical cover across screening, ward and outpatient activities
- review clinical findings and help ensure participant safety
- participation in the on-call rota
- work closely with physicians, nurses and other research professionals.
About you
You’ll need:
- full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- at least two years’ clinical experience after qualifying
- completion of UK Foundation training or equivalent
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- appropriate medical indemnity covergood clinical judgement and communication skills
- an interest in clinical research and medicines development.
- Previous clinical research experience is desirable but not essential.
