Excellent opportunity for a Medical or Senior Medical Writer to join our team! This is a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover).
Nucleus Network is a global leader in early phase clinical research, with dedicated facilities across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Our UK site, HMR, is one of Europe’s largest clinical pharmacology units. We have 3 wards containing 145 beds, a laboratory, a pharmacy and supporting services, all located on one site in premises in North-West London.
We seek high-calibre graduates, preferably with an MSc or PhD, who are highly organised with excellent writing skills and a proven understanding of clinical trial design. Understanding of basic statistics would be a distinct advantage, and previous relevant employment history in the clinical trial or pharmaceutical industries is desirable. However, enthusiasm and commitment are more important than experience.
As a Medical Writer (MW) or Senior Medical Writer (SMW), you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, across global sites, to support our early phase trials. You’ll prepare high-quality trial documents such as protocols, participant information materials, submission packages, clinical study reports, and other critical outputs, all compliant to applicable regulations. Attention to detail, proficiency in word processing, excellent time management skills, and proven scientific and analytic ability are essential for the position; specialist clinical writing experience, as well as broad regulatory understanding, is mandatory for the SMW role.
Overall, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to develop new skills and to pursue a career in our innovative and dynamic company. You’ll receive extensive training and work alongside experts in data management, statistics, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics.
Please e-mail your CV and a covering letter, outlining your experience and suitability for the position, to . N.B. applications without a covering letter will not be considered.
