About The Role

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Senior Manager for Employability and Life Skills to take a leading role in developing a comprehensive Employability Skills programme for the service, incorporating Vocational areas, Skills for Life, Family Learning and Special Educational Needs (SEN) programmes to maximise funding in line with its priorities and objectives.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the Adult Learning and Skills Service Employment Skills team and seek to ensure it performs to a high standard. In addition, have overall responsibility to lead, manage and maintain the MATRIX quality assurance process for the service. Work in collaboration with the Service and external partners, such as Volunteer centre, National Careers Service, Job Centre Plus, to develop and manage the services CIAG (Career Information, Advice and Guidance) strategy, to ensure it meets the requirements of the service and complies with MATRIX quality standards.
To lead on the services response to employer engagement, including LBHF as a major partner, including HR & Talent, H&F Works and liaise with senior colleagues to ensure the agreed response is delivered.
