About The Role
Hammersmith & Fulham Council are committed to investing in their residents and are currently creating a wide range of high‑quality Apprenticeships that combine working in a great job, comprehensive training and development opportunities and a competitive salary. This Regulatory Compliance Apprenticeship is a 24‑month programme, designed to develop technical, enforcement, organisational and communication skills and to apply your ‘can‑do’ attitude whilst working towards a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance qualification.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist managers and officers with their statutory duties and team projects – including processing licensing applications, carrying out monitoring and compliance inspections, investigating complaints and collating and presenting evidence and business records.
- Build up experience and knowledge of Markets and Street Trading and other Environmental Health and Regulatory Services legislation.
- Help define, document and carry out small projects or sub‑projects within the team, actively participating in all phases.
- Build on existing communication skills, gain invaluable experience and build self‑confidence through day‑to‑day workplace activities.
- Maintain and update records and support teams with data entry and numerical data.
- Deliver a range of administrative functions such as diary management, photocopying, scanning, filing and responding to requests for information via email, letter and telephone calls.
Training And Development
Complete a Regulatory Compliance Level 4 qualification funded by the Council – involving attendance at a college (including virtual workshops) and/or completing tasks in the workplace and working from home. Join a personal and professional development programme involving varied activities and events throughout your time with the Council.
