About The Role

Hammersmith & Fulham is committed to ending Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). We are seeking a skilled and motivated VAWG Programmes and Partnerships Lead to deliver the Council’s VAWG Strategy (2022–2027). The role is responsible for designing, commissioning and delivering services for victim/survivors of VAWG, with a focus on criminal justice support and safe accommodation.

Key duties include:

  • Leading specific VAWG programmes
  • Overseeing commissioned services
  • Supporting partnership-led delivery across the VAWG portfolio
  • Contributing to strategic development
  • Preparing briefings and reports for senior officers and elected members
  • Representing the council at local and pan‑London partnership forums

Role Specific Qualifications

Educated to degree level or relevant work experience in modern slavery and exploitation, violence against women and girls, safeguarding, anti‑social behaviour and/or community safety.
