About The Role
At Hammersmith & Fulham, we are ambitious about reforming the council to deliver the very best for our residents. Within the Place Department, we are committed to working efficiently and collaboratively to create neighbourhoods that are safe, clean and green, supported by high quality, reliable public services.
We are seeking an experienced Area Regeneration Manager to join our Area Regeneration and Engagement Team. This is a key role, leading the delivery of a diverse portfolio of complex, community led regeneration projects that contribute directly to local priorities and place based outcomes.
Working in a fast paced and politically aware environment, you will:
- Lead and manage complex regeneration projects from inception through to delivery such as the West Kensington & Gibbs Green Public Realm Improvement Programme and other place-based improvement programmes.
- Engage, build and sustain effective relationships with residents, community organisations, elected Members, internal services, contractors and other key stakeholders.
- Specify, commission and manage external consultants and contractors, including procurement and tendering processes.
- Coordinate and contribute to funding bids, business cases and approvals in line with corporate priorities and governance.
You will be an organised and proactive professional with strong project management experience, ideally gained within a regeneration, housing, or place based context.
You Will Be:
- Confident managing multiple workstreams and competing deadlines.
- Highly skilled at stakeholder engagement, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Solutions focused, resilient and comfortable working at pace and under pressure.
- Creative, enthusiastic and bring a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Motivated by delivering positive, visible outcomes for communities.
Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you’re looking to develop your career in a fast paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
