About the Role

Our Business Administrator role consists of an 18‑month long opportunity to build on your organisational and communication skills, develop the skills and knowledge required for the role and apply your ‘can‑do’ attitude whilst working towards a Level 3 Business administrator qualification.
The Job
- Ensure the effective delivery of the damp and mould service
- Carry out various administrative tasks to enable service delivery using different IT systems
- Raise work orders to contractors in accordance with instruction from the Damp and Mould Manager and within your financial limit
- Contribute to the effective monitoring of the Damp and Mould service being delivered for planned and reactive works/services.
Training & Development
- Complete a Level 3 Business administrator qualification funded by the Council. This will involve attendance at a college and/or completing tasks in the workplace (depending on specific course requirement).
- Join a personal and professional development programme that will involve a series of varied development activities and events throughout your time with the Council.

You will have networked across the Council and be aware of the internal job market during your time with us and we will provide support on your approach to the wider job market as part of your development programme.

- Be a Hammersmith & Fulham resident or care leaver aged 16+ who has lived in the UK.
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years (as part of the funding requirement).
- Not currently be qualified in Business Administration at Level 3 or above.
- Currently not undertaking any other formal form of study (e.g. college or university course).
