Our cross-functional teams are built to be nimble, highly effective, and empowered to bring their expertise and creativity to every project, big and small. You are an ambassador of the company and its values at all times. This means exhibiting excellent leadership and collaboration, crystal clear communication, and a positive, motivational demeanor. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

This Role

Your role will consist of creating and executing top-tier design across multiple disciplines. Armed with expertise in both 2D & 3D design from concept to completion, you will be asked to balance aesthetics and technical requirements across a variety of campaigns with different needs. You will be a prolific maker and thinker, expected to contribute to pitches, trailer projects, visual ID development, key art, and everything in between. This is a hybrid work-from-home/onsite position, with the default being work-from-home, but with onsite work on an as-needed basis at our studio in London.

  • Education and inspiration – When schedule allows, you’ll be asked to help in providing creative inspiration that furthers Hammer’s creative knowledge and palette. This will usually take place in Agency syncs; however, there may be additional topics or ideas we will want to explore that fall outside that. Likewise, continually push to educate yourself in new technologies and workflows so we can stay on the bleeding edge of the industry.
  • Diving deep – Take a hands-on approach, demonstrating exceptional on-the-box execution skills while contributing to the design direction of multiple projects simultaneously. Take an active interest in exploring and developing new pipelines and workflows at Hammer to execute the best work possible.
  • Design expertise – You will be a key tastemaker at Hammer Creative, ensuring that every frame, pitch deck, and style guide leaves our doors looking perfect.

  • Take a keen interest in Unreal Engine and expand your knowledge and capabilities in it to better collaborate with the capture and special projects team.
  • Work on a variety of different briefs that use some or all of your skills in design, visual storytelling, illustration, 2D/3D motion design, and compositing.
