As a Senior Producer, you will be expected to lead the production efforts of complex, high-value projects, ensuring that quality, budget, and good working processes are maintained, and that the client and the company expectations are met. In this elevated production role, you are expected to model outstanding producing skills at all times. You will be expected to lead the highest priority projects and campaigns at Hammer Creative.
As the primary lead of projects, you are expected to initiate and guide the process with a steady hand and motivational demeanor, ensuring all team members are well-informed and set up to do the best work possible. Likewise, as the main point of contact for clients, it is essential for the Senior Producer to communicate clearly, effectively, and in a time-sensitive manner at all stages of production.

- Facilitate healthy production at Hammer Creative and anticipate your project’s needs from beginning to end. Always follow through on tasks assigned to you.
- Work closely with key creative and production stakeholders to ensure everything is operating smoothly and all critical production tasks are being completed.
- Manage multiple projects at varying scales and work cross-departmentally with virtually every discipline at Hammer.
- Keep the project’s Account Lead informed of a project’s progress and be proactive in identifying and escalating issues and your proposed solutions to them.
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with clients by being collaborative, consistent, and proactive in identifying and addressing their needs.
- Be vigilant with maintaining project scope and schedules, flagging early and often when a project may be going out of scope.
- Be ready to take on new and unexpected challenges.
- Earn trust at every level of the company by demonstrating leadership, critical thinking, and ensuring team morale is high.
- Be a key partner in forging strong relationships with the U.S. office.
Lead and manage the entire creative project lifecycle from briefing to final delivery, and be a key sounding board for all members of the team.
- On larger campaigns that require multiple producers, you may be assigned by the Executive Producer to lead in a supervisory role.
- Define and monitor project scope, including timeline/production schedules, deliverables, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects deliver on time and within budget.
- Assess and report how each project is tracking against the budget to the designated project account on a weekly basis.
- Develop intuitive and efficient project plans and budget estimates for new work.
- Foster a collaborative environment by ensuring key creative team members are involved in briefings, brainstorms, reviews, etc.
- Work with Operations to continually evaluate, adjust, and uphold departmental processes and workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and work/life balance.
- Evaluate project development and guide the team in ensuring the project’s creative vision and high-quality standards are realised both internally and externally.
- Own and drive all internal and external project meetings to make sure the meeting is as productive and efficient as possible.
- Clearly communicate project plans, processes, status, objectives, timelines, direction, and feedback to internal team members as well as clients.
- Schedule and coordinate the work of writing/creative, editorial, game capture, and art departments as required by individual jobs.
- Support the Recruitment & Resourcing Director in helping to onboard contract and full-time editors, writers, creative directors, and producers.
- With the assistance of a Project Coordinator or Associate Producer, create, manage, organise, and distribute all project information and documentation.
- Maintain an extensive and comprehensive knowledge of each brand/project to ensure all deliverables are meeting client and internal expectations.
- Guide, consolidate, and occasionally contribute to internal creative feedback.
- Ensure all vendor and client contracts are executed correctly.
- Delegate work to and oversee the performance of Associate Producers and Coordinators assigned to your projects.
